Playing a game with a limited number of savefiles and wish you could start a new savefile without losing your old one? The tool SVDT will let you do that. If you have oothax, you should already have SVDT, but for everyone else, here is a link to it. Download the 3dsx and sdmh and put them in a folder titled svdt inside your 3ds folder, and the installation is done. Now boot up homebrew, select the app, choose a game, and the program will automatically backup your saves. You can also restore the save by navigating to the containing folder, and clicking Y on the files. It's really easy, but also really useful.
