This is the only entrypoint that doesn't need a game to load homebrew, however it is patched on every system version from 10.2 onward. The browser is full of exploits waiting to be discoverd, so even if you are on 10.2 or 10.3, you still may get Browserhax in the future.

 Another problem with this exploit is on 9.9-10.1, is an error message that prevents you from opening the browser. There is a workaround for n3DS, but o3DS will never get Browserhax back. This exploit works for 9.3-9.8 without problems.

 One more thing, if you used a game cartridge to update to 9.X, it doesn't install a browser, so you cannot use Browserhax. If you used an internet update, you're fine.

 

 These instructions work for any 3DS on system versions 9.3-9.8.

1. Disable Wifi (using the slider on the side of your 3DS, or the option in the menu if it's a n3DS)

2. Open the camara using L+R, and scan this QR Code:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Close the web browser, and enable Wifi.

 

 Now, whenever Wifi is enabled and the web browser is opened, homebrew will load up. Obviously, if you want web browser access restored, you can just disable web browser and move to a different page (on n3DS you can just change the tab).

 

 If you are on 9.9-10.1 on a n3DS, you can still get browserhax. It does require different steps, however.

 

1. Make sure you have the DNS from the front page enabled.

2. Disable Wifi, open the web browser, and type in this URL:  http://yls8.mtheall.com/browserhax_fright.php

3. Close the browser, and enable Wifi.

4. Put the curser over the browser icon (so when you press A it opens)

5. Turn off your 3DS.

6. Turn 3DS on, mash A.

 

 Repeat steps 4-5 until it works.
